A programme of events has been designed to give the Biennale a more entertaining look.
There shall be, among other events:
A gala ceremony at Daniel Sorano theater
A fashion show
Music concerts in various places in Dakar
A poetic evening lecture
The Leopold Sédar Senghor day
A cocktail to Douta Seck Centre on thursday 11th may at 6 pm
African films screening ("Ceddo" of Sembène Ousmane and "Le damier" of Balufu Bakupa-Kanyinda)until the end of may.
The venues for all the events is handed over to the guests and available to the Biennale desk.
The entertainment and the Off partake in reinforcing the popular character of the Biennale with a plurality of venues.
The next Biennale of Dakar will be held from 9th of may until 9th of june 2008.
